My Home Hey there! My name is Katniss. Katniss Everdeen. I decided to start a blog as a diary. I thought it would help me out with my thoughts and emotions. I can also get to know other people and share my interests. I want to talk a bit about myself first. I have long dark hair, olive skin, and gray eyes. I hunt and gather a lot. I am also really caring and try to help my loved ones. I live in District 12. To be honest, it is not the best place, like, at all. It sucks living here. Food is scarce, people die on a regular basis, and there is just so much poverty. I dislike the government so much. They only think of themselves. We do this thing that is called the "Hunger Games" where people kill each other to survive and the last ones remaining win. All of this is recorded and enjoyed by people who do not have the same struggles. It is insane. I would just love to run away and never come back, but I have a family to take care of. Anyways, I hope I can make some new friends ...
